William Eichfeld

CARBONDALE – Mr. William Eichfeld, age 71, passed away on January 8, 2021.



William was born in Brookfield, WI to William Eichfeld and Ruth Eichfeld.



He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Eichfeld.



He is survived by his first cousins Charles Wagner, Lynn Berkes, Dawn Adams, and Lana Kawakami.



Due to the Covid pandemic concerns for safety, there will be no service. Your thoughts and prayers are welcome. Interment will be at Pinelawn Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.



Professor William Eichfeld was a dedicated well respected Professor of Engineering at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was devoted to his work and continued right until the end. Teaching was his passion. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, students and surviving family.
