William Charles Rendleman

CARBONDALE – William “Bill” Charles Rendleman, Sr., 79, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale surrounded by his loving family.



Bill was born on July 22, 1942 to William Clifford and Doris (Bacus) Rendleman in Los Angeles, CA. He married Margaret Byram in Chester on August 26, 1961. She proceeded him in death on July 19, 2015.



Bill is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney (Maria) and Anthony “Tony” (Naureen) Rendleman; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah “Debbie” (Davie) Elger, Tammy Cobb, Amanda (Michael) Oreskovich, Tanya Fletcher, and Jamie Pursell; fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by parents; wife Margaret; son, William “Bud” Jr; and sisters, Judy and Penelope.



Bill worked in the air conditioning and refrigeration field and retired from the foundry in Chester. There wasn’t a thing Bill couldn’t fix. He was a member of the Murphysboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Bill loved to go bluegill fishing, enjoyed going to the beach and spending time in the warm weather with Margie.
