Sheryl Ann Sungail

Sheryl Sungail, 54, passed peacefully in her sleep on April 13th. A loving daughter of Diane and Robert Sungail, sister of Craig (Rose), Aunt to Cameron and Katrina, and best friend and companion of Connie Potter. Formerly of Chicago, Illinois. She was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Southern Illinois Saluki softball team. Her humor, positive outlook on life, and strong determination will be missed by all her friends in Carbondale and her family in Illinois and Pennsylvania. A service in her memory will be held at the Newman Center at 10:00am on Saturday, May 23rd. In lieu of flowers, Sheryl preferred donations to either St. Francis Care or the SIUC Newman Center, and will be accepted by Meredith Funeral Home, Carbondale.
