Shelby J. Corbin

Grand Tower - Shelby J. Corbin, 76, of Grand Tower passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence. Shelby was employed as a nurse's aide at Roosevelt Square. Shelby was born March 10, 1939 in Grand Tower, IL to Ivy Lewis Cripps and Maude Ellen Hancock Cripps. Shelby was one of 11 children. Shelby was united in marriage with Billie Corbin on May 19, 1962 in Chester, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2009. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers and five sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower with Reverend Peggy Camp officiating.
