Anna - Ron Weibrecht, 66, of Anna, formerly of Carbondale, entered eternal life in heaven at 1:30 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. Ron was born February 4, 1949 in St. Louis to Wilbert John and Geraldine Elvira (Bergman) Weibrecht. They preceded him in death. He married Frances Cabrini D'Amore on May 1, 1976 in Kansas City, MO. She survives and is of Anna. Ron is also survived by his son, Ethan Joel (Tammy) Weibrecht of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Sarah Marie Brumley of Makanda; three grandchildren, Audrey and Shawn Brumley and Colton Weibrecht; and two sisters, Linda (Bruce) Engert and Bonnie (Doug) Hemman, all of Frohna, MO. Ron was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Carbondale. He had worked for 33 years as a Food Salesman with Sysco Foods until his retirement in 2005. Some of Ron's favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting with his son and grandchildren. He loved playing with his grandchildren and spending lots of time with his family. He will be missed greatly. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Carbondale, with Pastor Robert Gray officiating. Interment will be held at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Longtown, MO. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Meredith Funeral Home, Carbondale. There will also be a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the church. Memorial donations are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Carbondale, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
