Ray C. Finstad, Jr.

ANNA – Ray Carrol Finstad Jr., 64, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at his home.



Ray was born on May 14, 1956 to Ray and Barbara (Devaney) Finstad, Sr. in Clifton, Texas. He married Laura Susan Conner on December 26, 1979 in Dumas, Texas.



Ray is survived by his wife, Laura; children, Erica, Charles, Barbara and William; grandchild Zachary; sisters, brother, sister-in-law’s, brother-in-law’s many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife’s parents.



Ray served his county in the Airforce. He went on to work for the Big Muddy River Correctional Center until his retirement. Ray’s idea of a good day was spending time on his computer playing games and watching videos or out at the lake catching fish and drowning worms. He enjoyed having a good steak with a cold beer and always up to trying something new and interesting.



Private services will be held on July 11 at 2pm First Baptist Church of Creal Springs.
