GRAND TOWER - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Philip Camp, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished son, who left us on April 12th 2025. Philip was a man of unwavering kindness and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His spirit of compassion touched the lives of many, and his legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Born on February 7, 1971, Philip was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, a passion that brought him joy and camaraderie with fellow fans. Watching the games from home, his enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and he cherished the memories made with loved ones during those special moments.
Philip's greatest pride and joy came from his family. As a husband, he was a steadfast partner, always supporting and uplifting his wife Danna. As a father, he was a guiding light, instilling values of kindness, integrity, and resilience in his children. His laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.
Philip's commitment to helping others was evident in all aspects of his life. He dedicated his time and energy to various community initiatives, always seeking to make a positive impact. His selflessness and genuine care for others will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we honor Philip, let us remember his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering spirit. He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
Philip is survived by his loving wife Danna; mother, Peggy Camp; brother, Joel Camp; children, Nichole Camp and Jesse Camp; and granddaughters, Alivia and Bailey Ullman.
He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Camp; and sister, Kellie Hokkanen.
Funeral Services for Philip will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the Lighthouse Christian Assembly in Grand Tower with Pastor Richie Pyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses and will be accepted at the church.
