Patrick Joseph Nolan

CARBONDALE – Patrick Joseph Nolan, 35, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with his family by his side.

Patrick was born on March 26, 1989 in Chicago to Michael Nolan and Mary (Shelton) Greiwe. 

Patrick was born and raised in Wrigleyville. He attended Taft high school in Chicago. He then he moved to Southern Illinois to work alongside his brother. Patrick was a huge sports fan. He especially, loved watching and going to Chicago Cubs Baseball games. Patrick was an avid gamer with his brothers and friends. 

He had a big loving heart and would give his shirt off his back to his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends; but his spirit will remain with us forever, reminding us to cherish each day and uplift one another. In our hearts, he will always hold a special place, as we carry his legacy of kindness and love forward.

Patrick is survived by his loving mother, Mary; brothers, James (Jennifer) Colacecchi and Michael Nolan; aunt, Theresa Chambers; cousins, Jason, Eric, and Christina Chambers, Margaret and Gerald Krystof 

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Nolan; grandparents, Ann and Robert Favorite; and aunt, Bridget Krystof. 

A Prayer Service for Patrick will be held at 7pm on Monday, February 17, 2025. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until the time of the service on Monday. 

Memorials may be made in Patrick’s name to St. Francis Animal Shelter or American Lung Association.
