Patricia A. Rushing

DE SOTO – Patricia A. Rushing, 83, of De Soto, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at her home.



Patricia was born on December 28, 1935 in Carbondale to Harry and Irene (Smith) Cannon. She married Harley Rushing on May 19, 1954 in Murphysboro. They shared 55 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2010.



Survivors include her four children and spouses, Harley Michael Rushing and Kelli Fergus of Zeigler, Jack Rushing of De Soto, Cathy Rushing and Yogi Cox of Makanda, and Tony and Andi Rushing of De Soto; eight grandchildren, Jake and Brandon Rushing of De Soto, Heath and Heather Rushing of De Soto, Cheyenne Rushing of Makanda, Grace, Walker, and Mya Rushing, and Dalton Joles all of De Soto; great grandchildren, Brittney and Dakota Rushing of Marion, Desteny, Daxton and Jude Rushing of De Soto, Ryan Tinley and Ashlyn Rushing of De Soto, and Jaxon and Reese Rushing of Hurst; and great-great grandson, Legend Rushing of De Soto



She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kelly Jo Rushing; grandson, Chad Rushing; a sister and three brothers.



She retired from Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
