Matthew C. Medlin

CARBONDALE - Matthew C. Medlin, age 55, passed away on Saturday December 14, 2024 at his home in Carbondale.

 Matthew was born on November 1, 1969 in Carbondale to James and Patricia (Marshall) Medlin-Guyon. 

 Matthew is survived by his mother, Patricia Guyon, two brothers, Stuart (Kelly) Medlin and Christopher Medlin; two nephews and a niece. Matthew is also survived by his special friend Mary Hamilton.

 He was preceded in death by his infant brother; father, James S. Medlin; and step-father, John C. Guyon. 

 Funeral Services for Matthew will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Carbondale with Fathers Jerry Anderson and Robert Flannery officiating. Private burial will take place at Parrish Cemetery in Vergennes at a later date.

 Memorials may be made in Matthew’s name to St. Francis Care Animal Shelter or St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
