Carbondale - Mary T. Colletti, 98, of Colts Neck, NJ, formerly of Carbondale, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2015, at the Riverview Medical Center with her family by her side. Mary was born February 28, 1916, in Willisville to Santo and Lucia Busciglio. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco Colletti, for 42 wonderful years. Mary is survived by her daughter, Lucia (Tom) Nardini of Colts Neck, NJ; son, Jerome Colletti of Chicago; grandchildren, Nicole (Joe), Valerie (Sheri), Tommy (Kristen), Jerry (Lisa), Joey (Linda), Janet and Jim as well as many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dr. Joseph Busciglio, two sisters, Carmelina Kueker and Carmela Busciglio, a daughter Rosaria Womick, son-in-law, Jim Womick and daughter-in-law, Gloria Colletti. She was the proprietor of Colletti's Restaurants in Chicago, and Carbondale. Mary loved to cook and was a famous baker. Her whole Life was her Family and she will be tremendously missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Robert Flannery officiating. Interment will be held at Murdale Gardens of Memory in Murphysboro, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband on her 99th birthday. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Meredith Funeral Home of Carbondale, with a Vigil Prayer Service starting promptly at 5:00 p.m.
