Jeanette Marcelle Walker

Grand Tower - Jeanette Walker from Grand Tower, IL passed away Saturday February 5th, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born December 2, 1957 to Lowen and Marilyn Clemmons in Chicago, Illinois.



She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brothers Scott Clemmons and Bill Clemmons.



She has 4 surviving siblings Kathy Taylor(Clemmons) from Illinois, Mark Clemmons from Indiana, Gina Clemmons from Texas and Shawn Clemmons from Florida. She leaves behind 3 children Alexandra and Nicholas Smith from Georgia, Jeff and Nicole Downey from Illinois and David Clemmons from Illinois. The most precious gifts she left behind were her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Madison, Marley and Max Smith from Georgia, Daniel Jones from Illinois, Kaylyn And Taylor Clemmons from Illinois, Blake Howard from Georgia, Thomas Fye from Illinois and her great grandchildren LaKai and Khalila King from Illinois.



Jeanette cared deeply for her friends and family. She met some amazing people working at Jackson County Nursing Home and while driving over the road.



Jeanettes wishes were to be cremated and buried with her mother and father. There will be a small service in the spring at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, Illinois.
