Jason Eugene 'Tank' Carter

CARBONDALE – Jason Eugene ‘Tank’ Carter, 37, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.



Jason was born on November 8, 1980 to Timothy and Dolly (Nance) Carter in Carbondale.



Jason was self-employed in the construction industry. He was a member of Drury Christion Church and a former member of the Carbondale Eagles. He loved his children very much and will be missed.



He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Dolly Carter of Carbondale; son, Cameron Eugene Carter of Carbondale; daughter, Leah Marie Carter of Carbondale; former spouse, Michelle Susan Simmons Carter; two brothers, Joshua Eugene Carter and Christopher Eugene Carter and wife, Lindsey all of Carbondale; step-sons, Micheal David Cudemo and Bryan Roy Cudemo both of Murphysboro; step-daughter, Stevie Danyel Cudemo of Murphysboro; step-grandson, Kieran Micheal Paul Cudemo; and former spouse, Jennifer Lynn Carter Cudemo.



Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents.



Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale with Tom Stearns officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.



Memorials may be made to Meredith Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home or on the funeral home website.
