Jacqueline Crane Bailey

Jacqueline “Jackie” Crane Bailey, age 69, daughter of Ezra Crane and Alta Johnson, born April 06, 1952, has passed away at Carbondale Memorial Hospital on December 09, 2021.



Jackie is proceeded in death by both parents and three siblings: Patricia Crane, Marjorie “Margie” Crane, and Barbara “Barb” Sagartz.



Survivors include six siblings: Roberta Vinson, Jeannie Balsano, Robert Crane, Rosemary Bowlby, James Crane, Julia Barringer; two children: Jason Golliher and Kari Stevens; and six grandsons: Anthony Pierce, Jason Shorman, Michael Garberg, Jackson Golliher, Robertson Golliher, and Jameson Golliher.



Jackie was a highly driven woman with a great desire for connecting with family, friends, coworkers, and those who were important to her. She was very reliable, committed, and readily available for many people, jobs, and always made time for her family’s needs or gatherings. She bonded with and touched the lives of many.



Jackie was extremely smart and college educated. There wasn’t much she couldn’t do or figure out how to do. She could find answers for most solutions.



Her favorite thing was family and she loved finding and cooking new recipes to share with everyone.



She found peace and pride in cooking, crocheting, making costumes, or spending time with her favorite family and friends. We will all miss her deeply and cherish each memory we carry now of her.



A celebration of life to honor her name and celebrate what would have been her 70th birthday is set for the following Saturday, April 09, 2022 at Bowlby Farms in DeSoto, Illinois at 11:00 am. We would be so happy if you would please join us.
