Howard Ziegler

CARBONDALE – Howard Ziegler, age 71, of Carbondale, passed away on August 12, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. Howard was born in Princeton to Howard F and Carolyn (Allen) Ziegler, on November 27, 1947.

Howard married Catherine McCoy on December 20, 1969, in Carbondale. He is survived by his wife and his brother Craig (Jodi Saletzki) Ziegler of Tiskilwa. Sister-in-law Kathy Ziegler. Nephews Luke (Katie Manis), Jake, Chad Ziegler and Aunt Ruth Ziegler. Mother-in-law Claudia Walker. Brother-in-law Daryl McCoy. Sisters-in-law Joyce (Don) King and Corinne Steveson.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steve.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Lakeland Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Nelson Officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, at Mount Bloom Cemetery in Tiskilwa, IL with Rev. Phil Nelson Officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, and 10:00-11:00 on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Lakeland Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Lakeland Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church.
