Hazel L. Cook

GRAND TOWER – Hazel L. Cook, 57, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.



Hazel was born February 11, 1961 to Howard and Flo (Cripps) Cook Sr. in Murphysboro.



Hazel was a lifelong resident of Grand Tower. She worked as a dietary aide at Jackson County Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.



Hazel is survived by her brothers and sisters; Howard Cook and wife, Virginia of Cadiz, KY; Raymond Lee Cook and wife Mary of Murphysboro; Floyd Lewis Cook of Murphysboro; John Edward Cook of St. Genevieve, MO; Linda Cook of Grand Tower; Floetta Cook of Grand Tower; Carol Francis Cook of Taft, TX; and Paula Cook of Grand Tower, and numerous nieces and nephews.



She is preceded in death by her sisters; Dorothy and Jeanette Cook and her parents and grandparents.



Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.



A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Walker Hill Cemetery with Rev. Peggy Camp officiating.
