Frank "Chico" Coniglio

CARBONDALE - Frank “Chico” Coniglio, 81, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Herrin Hospital.

Frank was born on July 28, 1941 in Chicago to Christopher and Florence (Rawlings) Coniglio. Frank married Teresa Coniglio on July 2, 1980 in Murphysboro.

Frank owned and operated his own construction business for over fifty years for which he was building for Jesus. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also contributed to the community by being involved in coaching and refereeing wrestling.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Teresa Coniglio; daughters, Christine Coniglio, Terry (TJ) Coniglio-McQuay, Dawn Wolfe, Rachael Favier of Herrin, Krystal (Seth) Sanders of Norman, OK, and Florence (Shane) Caraway; twenty grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Connie Coniglio; grandson, Christopher Coniglio; brothers, Christopher and Patrick Coniglio; sister, Susan Taylor; and nephew, Robin Taylor.

A memorial service for Frank will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Murdale Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Hicks officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
