Frances Fleming

CARBONDALE – Frances W. Fleming, 98, of Carbondale, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Manor Court of Carbondale.



Fran was born on December 24, 1919 to Lester and Rena (Wood) Phillips in Adams, MA. She married Harold J. Fleming in Adams, MA on May 31, 1941. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2006.



Fran is survived by her son, John W. Fleming and wife Karen of Santa Rosa, CA; daughter-in-law, Laurel Fleming of Makanda; grandchildren, Clayton Fleming of Hanover Park and Carrie Davis and husband Brian of Carbondale; great grandchildren, Maddie and Preston Davis.



She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and son, Lester A. Fleming.



Fran was a legal secretary for 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, reading, playing cards and other games. Per Fran’s wishes there will be no services and she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Adams, MA

.
