Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Wild-Buckley

CARBONDALE - Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Wild-Buckley, 66, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Beth was born on October 9, 1957 in Litchfield to Charles Peterson Sr. and Sandra (Williams) Lowell. Beth married Fredrick Wild on July 1, 1978. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2010. She married Donald Buckley on October 10, 2015 in Carbondale and he survives.

Beth worked as a hairdresser at JCPenney Salon for over ten years. She also owned and operated her own beauty shop for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Beth is survived by her husband, Donald Buckley; daughter, Virginia Wild and husband, Andrew Summers; grandchildren, Hannah Newton, and Gideon and Sebastian Wild-Summers; sister, Jodi Paul; sister-in-law, Leatha Lindsey; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Shirley Wild; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick Wild; and son, Andy Wild.

A time of visitation will be held from 3:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday, November, 16, 2023 at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale.
