Elaine 'Jane' Norton

Elaine "Jane" Norton, 54, of Grafton, formerly of Elyria, North Ridgeville, Ohio and Carbondale, Illinois passed away Sunday January 17, 2016, at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake. Jane was born September 5, 1961 in Benton, Illinois. She was a Lorain County resident for more than 20 years. Jane worked at the Murray Ridge Workshop for over 20 years. She enjoyed dancing and music (her favorite song was "We Are Family"); she also enjoyed watching the television shows "The Brady Bunch" and "The Waltons". She loved stuffed teddy bears and had a large collection of them. Jane is survived by one sister, Lori Ann Norton of Vermilion; one brother, Arthur Stone (LaDonna) of North Olmsted and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Irene Norton. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m., at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Pastor Dean Good of Grace Church of North Olmsted will officiate. Burial will take place at Boskydell Cemetery in Carbondale, Illinois.
