CARBONDALE – David L. Sarver, 57, of Carbondale passed away at 9:31 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
David was born October 21, 1958 to Lloyd and Virginia (Klump) Sarver in Carbondale. He married Debra R. Hacker in 1992 at Edwardsville and she survives.
Other survivors include son, Alvie B. Hacker of Carbondale; grandchildren, Angelica Hacker, Savanah Sparks, Amber Page Sparks and Ashley Grace Sparks; brothers, Dale Sarver of Makanda and Daniel Johnson of Marion; and sisters, Diana (Russell) High of Carbondale and Debbie Coyle of Johnston City.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna and son, Richard.
David was a lifelong resident of Carbondale working in construction and being a mechanic for the Yellow Cab Company. He will be forever missed by all that knew him.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale with Rev. John Annable officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
