Daniel W. Williams, 72, of Perryville, MO, passed away 3:05 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, at Walker Hill Cemetery, Grand Tower, with Pastor Peggy Camp. Memorial the family are the preferred form of remembrance. Dan was born on December 13, 1942 at Chester, to Charles T. and Ruby L. (Byram) Williams. He married Tressa Cooper on September 28, 1970 at Sand Ridge. She survives and is of Perryville, MO. Other survivors include a son, Danny (Tara) Williams of Perryville, MO; two daughters, Crystal (James) Hood and Melissa (John) Meyer, all of Perryville, MO; seven grandchildren, Devon, Hannah, Anissa, Holton, Lydia, Kayley, and Rachel; two brothers, John (Darlene) Williams of Grand Tower, Jim (Patricia) Williams of Memphis, TN; two sisters Sandy (William) Chapman of Wolf Lake, and Mary Henson of California. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charlie, Joe, and Jack; and two grandchildren, Faith Hood and Ethan Williams. Dan retired in 2011 from the American Boat in Alton, IL. Meredith Funeral Home, Grand Tower, is assisting the family.
