Brenda Wright

MURPHYSBORO – Brenda Wright, 61, of Murphysboro passed away on July 5, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side.



Brenda was born on March 31, 1955 to Bobby Dean and Joyce (Henley) Qualls. They survive and are of Metropolis.



On April 27, 1972 she married Terrance Wright in Perryville, MO. He survives and is of Murphysboro.



Other survivors include two sons, Jamie Lee Wright (Tonya Smith) of Chester, and David Adam Wright of Arnold, MO; one daughter, Heather Jenine Wright of Murphysboro; three sisters, Paula (James) Chapman of Metropolis, Linda (Boyd) Cameron of Metropolis, and Kimberly “Kim” (Keith) Weekly of Murphysboro; and five grandchildren, Caleb, Colton, Zachary, Carly, and Zayden Wright.



Brenda worked as a pharmacy tech for Walmart or 3 years. She was also a member of the Lighthouse Christian Assembly in Grand Tower.



Services for Brenda will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lighthouse Christian Assembly in Grand Tower with Reverend Peggy Camp officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow the funeral service in Walker Hill Cemetery, Grand Tower.



Memorials are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to Celtic Hospice and will be accepted at the church.
