Cobden - Brenda D. Parrish, 60, passed away at 7:46 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born April 2, 1955 in Anna to Charles Albert and Ruth Irene (Treece) Stone. She married Tad Parrish on July 12, 1986 in Carbondale. Together they shared 29 years of marriage. He survives and is of Cobden. Brenda is also survived by her son, Ryan Parrish of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Lorie (Ralph) Russell of Chatsworth, GA; two grandchildren, Sky Nance and her fianc��, Evan, of Cobden and Corbin Russell of Chatsworth, GA; one great granddaughter, Ryley Nance; brother, Mark Black of Dowell; four sisters, Debra Gregory of Murphysboro, Julie Crabtree of Vergennes, Sharon Evans of Ullin and Cindy Russell of Murphysboro. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of Alto Pass, with Pastor Richard Pierce officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Interment will be held at Alto Pass Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the church. Memorial donations are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted by Meredith Funeral Home.
