Brandi Rene Leehy

Carbondale - Brandi Rene Leehy, 29, of Carbondale, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 9:31 a.m. at her residence surrounded by her family. Brandi was born October 19, 1982 in Memphis, TN, to Kirk and Cynthia (Pallares) Houston. She married Thomas G Leehy on May 29, 2004 in Carbondale. Brandi is survived by her husband; 4 sons, Logan M., Hunter A., and Memphis W Leehy., of Carbondale, and Kenton Leehy of Lick Creek; 4 brothers, Michael Houston of Memphis, TN., James (Andy) Leach of Carbondale, Christopher and Billy Houston of Memphis, TN.; her father and step-mother, Kirk and Carol Houston of Memphis, TN., paternal grandmother, Rita Houston of Memphis, TN., and maternal grandmother, Betty Neighbarger of Heath, OH. She is preceded in death by her mother, step-father and both grandfathers. Brandi worked as a Phlebotomist, and was in the home health care profession for several years. She battled health issues for the last 7 years. As per her request, she is being cremated and will have a celebration of life at their residence on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Memorials are to be made to the family and will be accepted by Meredith Funeral Home at 300 S. University Ave., Carbondale, 62901.
