Bob Hayne, Jr.

Carbondale – Bobby Gene Hayne, Jr., 58, of Carbondale passed away on July 4, 2016 at 2:54 a.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.



Bob was born March 10, 1958 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Bobby and Marilyn (Thompson) Hayne. He married Janice Kay Ellis on April 7, 1983 at Terre Haute, Indiana and she survives.



Other survivors include his daughter, Jamie (Jeremy) Wilson of Carbondale; two brothers, Danny Goodrich of Stanton, Indiana and Jack Goodrich of Maryland; two sisters, Vicky Hayne (Ken Tremmel) and Peggy (Jerry) Reisinger both of Terre Haute, Indiana; two grandchildren, Robby Dean and Tristyn Wilson both of Carbondale; and many nieces and nephews.



He was proceeded in death by his parents and grandparents.



Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a CT and MRI Technician for Carbondale Memorial Hospital until he retired in April 2010.



A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held from 3-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Meredith Funeral Home with military rites.



Memorials are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to the family in care of Janice Hayne to help with expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
