Barbara Sue Williamson

Carbondale - Barbara Sue Williamson, 69, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 5:00 a.m. at Carbondale Rehab & Nursing Center. Barb was born November 30, 1943 in St. Louis, MO to Robert Russell and Dorothy Jane (Parker) Haley. She married Ronald Paul Williamson on June 27, 1992 in Cahokia. Barb is survived by her son, Pete (Christine) Richardson Jr. of DuQuoin; daughters, Cleeta (Ronald) Rinne of Carlyle and Pennie (Tim) Hawes of DeSoto; sister, Dorothy Lee (Charles) Parker; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Paul Williamson on October 7, 2013, two sons, Buddy Lee Richardson and Michael Anthony Haley, a daughter, Debbie Dee Richardson, and her parents. Barb was a member of the Little Oak Baptist Church in Lebanon. She was also a homemaker, caregiver and a seamstress for Keith Upholstery in St. Louis, MO. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at St. Clair Memorial Park in Fairview Heights, with Rev. Paul Hicks officiating. A graveside visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the cemetery.
