Almina Loeh

West Frankfort- Almina Loeh, 88, passed away at 3:56 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Almina was born September 2, 1924 in Pomona, to George Allen and Lena (Hill) Brewer. She married Herbert Frederick Loeh on December 19, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Survivors include, her son, Danny Loeh of West Frankfort; daughters, Sharon (Mike) Nimmo of Grand Tower and Linda (Steven) Boaz of Springfield; three brothers, George Lee Brewer of Illinois, Charles M. Brewer of DeSoto and Marvin E. Brewer of Murphysboro; one sister, Gladys Lovelace of DeSoto; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, on April 19, 1992, parents, one son, Jimmy Dale Loeh, two brothers and one sister. Almina was of Christian faith and a homemaker. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Meredith Funeral Home, Carbondale, with Pastor Peggy Camp officiating. Interment will be at Miner's Cemetery in Royalton. Visitation will be from noon till 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
