Alexander R. Walters

CARBONDALE - Alexander R. Walters, 33, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at St. Louis University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Alex was born on August 21, 1989 in Carbondale to Rory and Sharon (Gibson) Walters.

Alex was a pillar of the online communities of both RuneScape and Monumenta.

Alex is survived by his parents; his beloved aunt, Karen Gibson; aunt, Elizabeth (Tim) Umfleet; uncles, Robert Walters and Robert Gibson; numerous cousins and friends both local and online.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his aunt, Faye (Gibson) Taylor.

Private graveside services were held at Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale, Illinois.

Memorials may be made in Alex’s name to Doctors Without Borders. A charity supported by his online gaming community.
