Alaina Flodstrom

Alaina Gail Flodstrom, age 18, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at University of Chicago Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 3, 2006 in Marion to Amber Leverett.

Alaina had a passion for music that was unmatched, and her infectious energy and zest for life made her a larger-than-life presence in the hearts of those around her. She brought joy and laughter wherever she went and will be deeply missed by her mother, Amber Leverett, her siblings Alexandria Meyers, Jaden Jennings, Serenity Meyers, Luke Meyers, and Link LaPradd, as well as by her extended family and friends.

In her passing, Alaina leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a spirit that will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished by all who were touched by her light.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard Leverett and Linda Tefft; and her uncle, Kevin Tefft.

A Memorial Service celebrating Alaina's life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Meredith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
