Arthur Dale "Rabbit" Walker

GRAND TOWER - Arthur Dale "Rabbit" Walker, 61, of Grand Tower, passed away at 12:00 a.m., Sunday, September 09, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Dale was born September 27, 1950 in Breeding, KY., to Edwin and Geneva (Fudge) Walker. He married Mary (Loden) Walker on May 31, 2003 at 1st Baptist Church in Grand Tower. Survivors include; a son, Randy Walker of Lincoln, a step-son, Daniel (Victoria) Loden of Mt Vernon; 2 step-daughters, Becky Loden Goines of Anna and Tammy (William) Nicholson of Grand Tower; 2 brothers, Donnel (Bonnie) Walker of Sparksville, KY., and Terry (Jan) Walker of Bowling Green, KY.; and 8 grandchildren. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Dale Dean Walker, 2 brothers, Jerry and Howard Walker and 1 sister, Judy Claywell. He worked as a Truck Driver for 30 years; and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Grand Tower. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Meredith Funeral Home, Grand Tower, with Pastor Carl Dillow officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Interment will be at Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower. Memorials may be made to the 1st Baptist Church in Grand Tower and will be accepted at
